A power inverter is a helpful tool that provides versatility in where you can use your electronics. It allows you to connect a standard household electronic device, which needs a standard AC source, to a battery driven power source, which is a DC source. If you’re looking to buy a 1000 watt inverter, there are a couple of features to make sure you get. The first is multiple outlets. A dual-outlet inverter model should be fairly standard for this high of a wattage rating and shouldn’t add much, if anything, to the price.
In addition you should check reviews online for noise and overheating problems. Most brand name choices will be fine, but it doesn’t hurt to check. If you might need extra features like a USB port, make sure they are included before you purchase.
